simulation robmax simulation enables the verification of Process Images and validation of the value stream design alternatives. Simulation also sharpens the overall picture of material flow, reveals the dependencies along the value stream or the manufacturing process, clarifies problem areas, and enables the development of effective performance metrics, such as work-in-progress, average cycle time and buffer utilization.

Creation of simulation models for complex production processes are very time-consuming. Therefore, we have developed Simulation Templates. This enables the fast generation of simulation models of robotic cells, lines or full factories. robmax Process Images serve as input for the simulation. Simulation experiments to test alternate scenarios can be conducted with real process data as well as with test values.


Advantages of our Simulation Templates:

  • Standardized Simulation Templates reduce the effort for creation of simulation models to a minimum.
  • The robmax proprietary interface to Framework allows the usage of real time process data acquired by the ControlCenter. No other comparable interface to simulation exists.
  • The value-added components for the simulated line or cell can be precisely defined by each resource. Thereby, one can "virtual balance" the line or cell for maximum throughput.
